I had a blissful 2-night stay at The Bay Guesthouse on a business trip. The guesthouse owners Steve & Hannah are lovely, extremely hospitable and made one feel at home. My room was gorgeous, with a great sea view, clean and the most comfortable & cosy bed. The place is very close to all of Margate's attractions and local amenities and the train station is only about a 15-minute walk away. I highly recommend this place and will be staying again.

Directly opposite the Winter Gardens theater on Margate seafront, The Bay - rooms only bed and breakfast enjoys a prime location on the Thanet coast. A 3-minute drive from Margate Train Station, this guest house offers a full English breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Guest rooms at The Bay - rooms only have use of either en suite or shared bathroom facilities, with shower and complementary toiletries. Each has a TV with DVD player, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. A cooked breakfast is served each morning, with egg, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans and tomatoes. This guest house is a short walk away from the many cafés and coffee shops in Cliftonville or Margate town center. The Turner Contemporary art gallery is a 5-minute walk from The Bay - rooms only, and the Westwood Cross shopping center, between Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, has a wide range of stores just 7 minutes’ drive away. The cathedral city of Canterbury is around 35 minutes’ drive from this guest house.
