Everything was genuine and fitted to the Art Deco style. The Amy Johnson room which we stayed was absolutely delightful and we loved all the little touches that made the room authentic.

The location was excellent, and the on site facilities especially the Farm Shop exceeded my expectations, the variety and value of products, very satisfactory. The on site secret garden was also very interesting, and good value and choice.
Boasting picturesque views of the English Channel and the North Sea, the charming Botany Bay Hotel enjoys an elevated position on the cliff tops in Kingsgate, near Broadstairs in Kent.

I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do if it is purely a holiday. Public transport is good to all areas. Broadstairs is nearby and has many eating places, Minnie Bay in Birchington has seafront restaurant and bar. There is shopping at Westwood Cross, numerous takeaway options with delivery, best fish and chips at Fishbone Grill just as you come into Birchington. There are many beaches around the coast but do check which ones have doggie restrictions from May . RAF museum is worth a visit as is the spitfire museum. Eating places there too.

Such a beautiful place, plenty to do, loads of beautiful beaches, places of interest to see. We went everywhere by bus, we brought a day rider ticket for £4.50 and that allowed us to travel all day. We had a fabulous time.

Birchington is a nice little town with all the shops and supermarkets you could possibly need. The people were very friendly too!
Good place as a base too in order to explore other beaches and towns.

I know Birchington very well, as my sister lives there and I visit her regularly. Lots of shops and eating places, and an ideal location for visiting Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross which is a lovely shopping centre
This was our second stay at Twentieth Century B&B, it was once again exceptional! Kat and Spencer are so welcoming and the breakfast is spot on (highly recommend the vegan pancakes). We were in the David Bowie room which was great fun to stay in, having a shower with Bowie next to you was an experience! Birchington and the wider area is lovely, it's easy to get to more popular towns like Margate or to get out into nature at places like Stodmarsh or Pegwell Bay. We are already planning our return trip
Good location, easy access to Minnis Bay and Birchington railway station, making travelling along the coast very easy. Well, thought out accommodation and secure parking was a bonus. Particularly liked the little finishing touches like shampoo, tea bags, coffee, etc, that made the stay even better. The host was friendly and explained everything upon arrival. Recommended.
Cosy room in a quiet corner of Birchington within easy reach of Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs via train station less than 10 minutes walk away. Tim was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is good and includes cereals, bread, ham, cheese, fruit, croissants. The room has its own sink and access to Netflix and other streaming services.
Always little sceptical staying in rooms above pubs but the Powell Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Margate. Only 10 mins cab fare from heart of Margate. Pub has excellent decor and although didn’t get to enjoy an evening in the pub (closed due to staff shortage), will definitely return when I return to Margate
The vegetarian breakfast was amazing both Neil and Marilyn are so welcoming and lovely.
The location was perfect. 6 mins walk to Birchington on sea train station and close to sainsbury and coop.
I did a 1 and half hour hike to Margate along the river. It was amazing. I would recommend it.
Everything! The location, facilities.. Every little thing had been thought about. The horse box turned bathroom was so quirky.
Everything you need is there which doesn't happen alot even in hotels!!!
Dawn you really have an amazing set up and we will definitely be back again!!!
Brilliant, clean, well equipped, roomy. I don't think the pictures on bookings.com does it justice. Stones throw from Birchington beach however better beaches to be found a short drive away in Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Would highly recommend.
Clean and comfortable with lots of nice little touches such as milk and cereal on arrival, plus tea and coffee. Margate and Birchington only minutes away by car.
