We loved our stay at the Beacon. Wendy, Stephen and their staff were wonderful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They really made us feel at home and we would happily return in the future.

The staff was lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Nice little hotel, the room was good, if a little basic. The restaurant and bar are good, we had dinner, which was very nice, a lot of choice, traditional British food. The coffee with breakfast was excellent. We really liked the location, and went for a long walk around the near-by countryside. We would definitely visit again.

Dinner each night was also very good, with a good variety to choose from and good portion sizes - never enough room left for dessert! Would definitely stay again if we visit the Cotswolds again.

    Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to welcome pets to stay at our property. However, dogs are allowed in the public bar area of our hotel where you can enjoy food and drinks. Kind regards Wendy

    We have a specific menu for our half board but if you wish to upgrade upon arrival this is fine and if necessary a small surcharge will be required. The menu varies daily but it has proved to be a very popular option.

  • Hi Would you be happy for me to store some foliage and flowers overnight. I have been asked to do Church flowers near Elmore for a wedding.

    Yes we can offer storage for flowers although it would need to be at your risk as we could not take responsibility for any theft or damage. We would however make sure that the flowers were put in an area with very limited risk.

  • Hi. I’m looking for 2 rooms in July but I need a twin rather than 2 doubles. If I book the 2 doubles are you able to change one to a twin room please?

    You would need to book a standard double and either the triple or family with bath to accommodate your request. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a twin option in our standard doubles.
