Perfect for us---the room was lovely, immaculate and had an amazing view. The proprietor s were friendly, helpful and professional. The location suited us well, within easy walking distance of the town but far enough removed to be peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend it.

I loved how clean and spacious the place is. The view is beautiful and everything else is perfect. There were so many kinds of tea and coffee to choose from in the room and the breakfast was made fresh. The staff were lovely and Whitby is amazing!

Nearby attractions include the 199 steps and Whitby Abbey, which are 16 minutes' walk from the hotel. North Moors National Park is only 24 minutes' drive from The Belfry Whitby.

  • We are doing a trip to Scotland - kelso from our home making a company delivery it is a 300 mile drive up for us we thought we would have a overnight break on the way down as it will be a long days driving between us ate u able to accomadate us please on April 10th many thanks
