United KingdomThe Bell Lodge is a great B & B situated very close to the Centre / Beaches of Sandown. The room was very clean and tidy and we both slept extremely well. The en-suite facilities were modern and again very clean. Lesley was very attentive and the breakfast was amazing. Nothing was too much !

Cara was lovely at breakfast and very attentive. My only thought is I can't understand why The Bell Lodge only has a 9.7 out of 10 rating on Tripadvisor, this property deserves 11 out of 10. You even get a welcome box with huge amounts of coffee, tea, milk and sugar plus lotus biscoff biscuits with chocolate coating, hand sanitiser and masks. If you ask for a fan you get an amazing Dyson fan. Just can't praise this establishment enough. Lesley - we love you and what you do. Thank you for everything, Donna, Mark, Toni & Paul xx

It is on a quiet pleasant road within easy reach of shops, the beach and the Isle of Wight coastal path. Breakfast is large, well cooked and delicious and kept me going most of the day. The Bell Lodge will be my go to place to stay next time I visit the island

The Bell Lodge offers something just a little bit different, a discerning refurbished property a short stroll from Sandown's fabulous beach. Sandown is a really good base for touring the Island and we have free onsite parking. Your stay with us will wrap you in comfort with luxury towels and linens and an attractive en suite facility in each room, all of our rooms are individually themed. We can recommend and book your restaurant or good pub food for dinner, theatre tickets, spa treatments, golf, fishing etc.......celebrating? we hold a premises license and personal license so can arrange champagne/wine for your room on arrival.
The house is managed by Lesley and all the lovely ladies (and gents!) who work at The Lodge have been with us since we opened, we are a happy team who really enjoy making your holiday special.
Sandown is a favourite place to stay not least because of the easy access to our beach, bars and restaurants. The cliff top walks from Sandown to our sister town of Shanklin are superb at any time of year. If you are travelling by foot, Sandown train station is a 10 minute walk and the bus stops just outside The Lodge! On our doorstep are a handful of excellent eateries, offering good food at very reasonable prices. New for 2018! refurbished local bars offer fabulous summer drinks on a huge decked terrace just off the beach and our oldest pub offers live music throughout the year.
