“This was our first time at the Blue Bell at Arkendale and we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, warm, spacious and very comfortable. The downstairs pub and resteraunt area was the perfect place to enjoy a quiet drink and a warm evening meal. In particular the resteraunt area with it's candles and fairy lights added a real magical touch to any meal. But of course it's the staff that truly make the Blue Bell. Professional, constantly helpful, polite and cheerful throughout. From the bar manager right down to the lovely lady who cleaned our room. We look forward to returning soon, and would not hesitate in recommending the Blue Bell to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing break away from it all. ”

“Room was excellent. Despite being described as a small double, it was bigger than most standard hotel rooms with very large comfortable bed, and tasteful fittings and decor. Pub is cosy and food in restaurant was of a very good standard. ”
