The Boar's Head is a very pleasant pub in the lovely village of Ripley, near Harrogate. There are tables in the courtyard at the front, a bar with a good range of draft beers and lagers, a small lounge area, and two separate dining rooms. We stayed for one night, and enjoyed dinner in the dining room. The menu leans more to being a pub menu than a restaurant menu, but OK. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, nicely appointed and very clean. We had a room in the main building, but there are other rooms off the courtyard to the back of the property.
