Great views over towards the Firth of Forth. On the 2nd floor to the rear of the building nice and quiet. Junior Suite room slightly chic modern design with old. Ensuite with bath and shower with complimentary toiletries including men shaving kit. Cupboard for clothes. Safe; Ironing board etc. Tea/Coffee facilities with an added espresso pod machine. Large TV not used much. Sofa and chairs and lounge table. Ate my 1st cooked breakfast on it. Dogs allowed. Non-smoking Hotel. Bar great, Quiet Library, Private function rooms. I used the Dean Suite for a private Luncheon of 21, The 3 Course meal selected with coffee was excellent. Table wines are scrumptious. Private Parking to rear but limited to about 12 parking bays and 1 disabled. Great location for West end. Near to Princess Street, Railways, Waverley and Haymarket, Castle and other central Landmarks. A Lift to rooms, for the more adventurous wide carpeted staircase with Bannister.

Location is perfect; quiet with a pretty park accross the road, with easy arrival and departure by car or cab, yet a short walk from Prince's St and the Mile, with quick access to shopping, attractions and fine dining.   • How far is the hotel from St. Andrew’s Station? If not within short walking distance are there handy transport options available?

    We are located around a 25 minute walk from Waverly train station in Edinburgh and around a 5 minute walk from Haymarket station - these are the 2 train stations in Edinburgh.

  • If the restaurant is closed does that mean that there is no breakfast

    Hi there, No - breakfast is served as normal in our restaurant. It is only lunch & evening meal in the restaurant that is affected - we still have a lounge menu available every day as well as a fully operational bar.
