Its only a 20 min walk to the centre. Option to get busses are very easy or its just a 6£ fare. For my stay the price to value is very good and am certainly booking again when im in the neighbourhood

Really friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean well presented room with plenty of storage. Lovely full English breakfast served. Lovely relaxing social lounge with TV all the guests could access...added bonus to our stay. Easy access to city center. Located in quiet street with shops nearby. Would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was 25 mins up hill walk from Newcastle railway station. There is a no 39/40 bus from Monument. £2 single. Michelle was fantastic. Friendly and helpful and sorted a couple of issues very well. The hotel is clean and tidy but is a maze of doors and corridors. Great for hide and seek. The bed was comfy and the shared toilet was clean.

    Hi and thank you for your enquiry, we are in walking distance yes but its about a 10-15min walk. A lot of our guests walk it if the weather is pleasant its just a straight road into town, taxis are very cheap as we are only a mile away.

    Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Yes, there is street parking we cant guarantee you'll be right outside the door but we don't have any issues with guest getting parked.

The Brighton is a family run business and has been for the last 35 years, undergoing a recent refurbishment with an additional outdoor seating area. We try are best to make this more of a home from home experience rather than a commercial hotel, we try our very best to meet all your expectations and more.

We are located in a residential part of newcastle just outside of the city centre. The city centre is within walking distance and St James parks only a 5 min walk.
