We loved everything about the Bull Inn, we were looked after very well. This was a one night stay en route to family in Scotland and we hope to stay at the Bull again next time we visit.

We have stayed in other places locally and driven through West Tanfield many a time. Decided to give it a go this time and WOW what a lovely place. OK so the sunshine helped and sitting on the lawn by the river is idyllic. The location is perfect for us. Hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating and pleasant even though they were VERY busy with the weather being so good. Room was small but very comfortable and well appointed. Food was 100% excellent. Breakfast (included) was top notch too. We cannot rate this any higher. We had a lovely weekend, thanks to everyone at the Bull Inn.
