“Staff were very welcoming, especially a lady called Bev. Room was bigger than expected and comfortable. There were loads of coffee, tea and milk (more than in other hotels I have stayed in). Room was very comfortable and had everything and more than needed including an ironing board and iron. Shower room although small, the water was hot. Plenty of towels which were replaced daily. Price included a light breakfast which included all cereals and yoghurts, toast, jams etc. Plenty of tea and coffee. You could just help yourself. Hotel is above a pub, but there was no noise to be heard despite the pub being busy. Food in the pub was of a good standard and so was the service. Buses into the city centre pick up just across the road and run every 10 mins. Would definitely stay again.”
