I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Caledon, I travel a lot and I am used to staying in hotels but after staying at The Caledon I would definitely book with them in the future. I loved the fact that we had the option to select our breakfast online and arrange a time for it to be delivered to our room. The extra bits and bobs were the icing on the cake, I loved the attention to detail.

  • We are cycling, would it be possible to safely lock our bikes up somewhere if we booked for next Monday (10th August??)

  • In current situation are you still open ?? Serving Breakfast ?? We are looking at 2 rooms for 2 nights commencing Monday 27th April

    We are currently open to keyworkers and as such the best way to book is giving us a call so that we can verify your booking.

    We have individual tables for couples - if there are a group of you we are able to put them together for you all to sit together if you prefer. Check out the pictures online

    We have a single lane drive for parking which is first come first served but absolutely fine for a transporter - check online for full parking details

  • We are looking to book a room at The Caledon, for the last weekend of October for two nights. Obviously with the current climate of Covid if we go into lockdown would we get a full refund? Thanks, Pippa

    If we are forced to close then all bookings will be refunded during the closed period. However, if we are open then then booking terms will still apply. We have different booking terms available directly

We offer the perfect mix of a friendly, welcoming bed and breakfast with the spacious, non intrusive feel of a small hotel. We are always on hand to answer questions, give directions or recommendations of where to eat and what to do, but don't worry if you don't need us you won't need to sneak past when you come back home. We offer a new Flexible Self Check in service so you can now arrive whenever you like from 2pm - you will be sent a code to the front door on the day of arrival and then your keys will be waiting for you inside. Breakfast is ordered online and can be delivered to your room or to our spacious dining room. Check out is also contactless.

Neighborhood info

What a wonderful place the Isle of Wight is to live and Cowes is just the icing on the cake; just 30 mins drive from anywhere and everywhere you'll want to get to. The Caledon is in a great location, five minutes walk up the hill from the bustling centre of Cowes with its pretty high street with individual shops, great restaurants, lively pubs, ferry links to Southampton and the yacht haven, sailing clubs and marinas for which Cowes is so well known. The Island offers beaches of every shape and size, from the open soft sandy beaches of Ryde and Sandown to the glorious little coves and bays, that mean you can always find somewhere out of the wind to relax in the wonderful sunshine.......and if beaches aren't your thing, then how about a trip to The Needles, Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle or one of the beautiful Manor Houses that are scattered all over? Once you are done exploring its time to eat, right?! Don't worry, we have plenty of suggestions of where to eat....either Eating in Cowes close enough to The Caledon that you can walk back after a little glass of wine, or some of our personal favourites for when you are out and about.
