This B&B is set in a cute little Cornish village close to many gardens and natural attractions. Janet and David are delightful and will do anything to make you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms comfortable. This was a favorite place of ours during our 5 weeks in the U.K.

We booked the room for 2 staff members, Jack and Mat, who could not speak highly enough of Janet and her husband. Their words exactly "Janet was a dream". I would like to say a special thank you for your kind and warm hospitality and for looking after the guys so well. Jack really appreciated you washing and drying his work trousers for him and the fry up you both made for them in the morning set them up nicely for their busy day of work. The guys would recommend your b&b to anyone staying in the area, the rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. We will be sure to book with you again if we have work down that way again. Thank you so much!

Of the 14 different properties in which we stayed during this bicycle tour of the western UK, The Cedars was absolutely the best. The facility is absolutely gorgeous, with a wonderful garden with ducks and a fish pond. The rooms are large and well appointed, and the shower was even better than home. Janet and David were perfect hosts. The breakfast room was lovely, and the breakfast itself was delicious. The secure facility for our bicycles was great, and easy to access. I loved this place and hated to leave.

The breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room was very clean and overlooked a lovely garden. The owners were very approachable and resolved the fact that we were allocated a self-catering accommodation instead of a B and B room by providing us with breakfast free. The parking is free. The property is in a lovely location.

The hosts Janet & David would be thrilled to have you stay at our B&B and new for 2022 is our standalone, handcrafted Shepherd's Hut. The Cedars is a 200 year old fully renovated property in the centre of the village, situated in a walled garden with plenty of private parking. Each and every one of our guests are truly valued. Our aim is to make your stay the best it could possibly be. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and work hard to create an environment which is tranquil and perfect for relaxing. All rooms have been individually decorated to the highest standard. Each room has a flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, hair dryer and all 5 rooms have their own en-suite. There is a iron and ironing board on request. In the morning you have a choice of either eating your breakfast in the conservatory or al fresco on the decking watching our ducks roaming around the garden. (When available fresh chicken and duck eggs are on the menu and also home made jam and bread). There is a local pub in the village with a chef serving food from 11-2 and 6-9. In the village is the famous Gwennap Pit. We are only 5 minutes from the main A3...
