The accommodation is charming and freshly and attractively decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches. The equally charming and friendly 13th century pub is just downstairs and serves wonderful food and beers, but isn't open so late as to disturb. The host is very friendly and helpful, and our dog was welcome as long as we took reasonable precautions. There is plenty to do and see without having to travel too far, but you are in a lovely peaceful village setting here when you return each night.

Really comfortable attractive decor, layout and features. We instantly felt at home. They catered to our dog, even with a throw for him and dog bowls. The owner was kind and helpful even though we were late. Lovely private entrance and patio. We really appreciated the little useful things like salt and pepper. There is nothing worse than starting to cook and realising you don't have these. We appreciated the number of towels and that they provided soap and washing up liquid etc. The sofa was so comfy. Lots of pillows! The views and the window seats were gorgeous. Although we didn't manage to go this time it is so convenient that you can get food at the pub as well as having your own kitchen. There is lots of space.

A lovely little apartment on the first floor of one of the most magical pubs, the Church House Inn. Stayed for two nights in the most charming off the beaten track village of Harberton. The landlord John was the most welcoming of hosts, and the apartment is beautifully furnished and spotless with its own courtyard garden. Pub food was first class. A must visit!!

The accommodation is a self contained apartment situated above the Church House Inn. Access is via a gate at the side and there is a small sheltered and quiet area at the rear where it can be nice to sit out. the apartment is well equipped and reasonably spacious with a galley kitchen and living room area with bedroom and bathroom off. We always sleep with a window open but there was no disturbance from the pub and we managed to sleep through the chimes from the adjacent church tower. We stayed for two nights and on both evenings we had supper in the pub below. The food was good as was the beer on tap and the pub was very atmospheric and welcoming.
