Great central location for a number of National Trust and other places of interest. Naomi and Mark were very welcoming and approachable hosts, keen to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Their Coach House is lovely, clean and well presented in a quiet location. Pleasantly surprised by the generous basket of provisions which awaited our arrival.

A 5-minute drive from the village of Hawkhurst, The Coach House provides attractive accommodations in the Kentish countryside. This cozy retreat has its own courtyard terrace and offers free parking and WiFi.

The master bedroom features a super king-size bed and has use of the main bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath.

The small kitchenette has a microwave, hob with 2 rings, and a fridge. It is complemented by dining areas both inside and on the terrace. The lounge features colorful furnishings and has a flat-screen TV.

The Coach House is a 10-minute drive from the 14th-century Bodiam Castle, and Scotney Castle is 8 miles away in nearby Lamberhurst. You can also reach the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells in 25 minutes, and the Eurostar terminal in Ashford is 45 minutes away.

  • looking to make a booking from 19th- 30th June and see that you have a review including mentioning a guests dog, in the list of inclusions you have pet bowls. We have a Flat coat retriever that we’d like to bring with us who is not allowed on furniture/bedrooms. Do you allow dogs. Thanks

    After the recent renovation, we changed our policy and no longer accept pets in the Coach House. We hope you are able to find suitable accommodation nearby.

  • We have 4 adults and 2 girls aged 5&7.. can we sleep all 6 of us in the house?

    Unfortunately the Coach House can only hold a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. I hope you find somewhere suitable!

  • would this property be suitable for a lady with some mobility problems using the single bedroom and does this bathroom have a shower.

    The property has two bathrooms: one on the ground floor and one on the top floor. The ground floor bathroom is next to the master bedroom and has a roll-top bath, while the upstairs bathroom is en-suite to the childrens bedroom and has a shower.

The Coach House features a spacious double-height master bedroom with a super-king sized bed, with a colourful second bedroom (and second bathroom) for children. Built in Georgian times, converted earlier this century and recently refurbished to a high standard, it is full of character with picture windows and beamed ceilings in several rooms.
