  • Hi do you have anywhere we could securely keep our bikes? Thanks in advance

Hi there. I have a gated rear garden and generally people lock them to the picket fencing around my bin store. I’ve had a lot of cyclists do this. Regards Lynne

  • We will be cruising with Le Boat at Benson. Is there taxi or other transportation to Benson from your place?

Hi and I am so sorry I have not replied to your message. I've not seen a message sent like this before so completely missed it. If you have not yet made other arrangements, the answer to your question is a taxi would be your best solution.

  • Do you have a lunch time menu for a group of about 30 people on a Saturday in October ?

Hello and apologies for the delay. I thought I had replied but there does not seem to be a record of it. We could prepare a lunch at your request for that number. Please feel free to call to discuss.

  • Can I book a family room for my husband, myself and our adult daughter who has a learning disability and can't have a room on her own please?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Room 2 has an extra single bed but can be noisy, or the attic room (Room 1) is quiet and has an extra bed in the eaves.

The combination of comfortable sofas, lounge chairs and tables gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy visiting The Coachmakers Arms to relax or eat from our delicious menu. We are not a gastro pub, but serve the best pizzas you can imagine from our stone-bake oven alongside a selection of sharing dishes to enjoy with a glass of your favourite tipple. The sun trap garden is a beautiful space which can be enjoyed whatever the weather, with cover and heating to keep you warm and dry.

The Coachmakers Arms is a 17th Century building that was originally two cottages adjoined to a sweet shop. Charlie's Sweet Shop was acquired and added much later, providing an additional area to the pub and three B&B rooms. The pub is full of character and traditional pub charm with a lovely ambience and large courtyard garden with some cover and heaters.

The Coachmakers Arms is situated in the centre of the bustling riverside town of Wallingford and within easy reach of the Thames Path, shops and amenities. Wallingford itself is a town with rich, medieval history and architecture, well known for its connections to the popular TV series Midsummer Murders and its past resident, Agatha Christie. The town has an old cinema, interesting independent shops and country and river walks on its doorstep.
