The hotel ambiance was warm and friendly with helpful staff. We had an evening meal which was delicious and breakfast was very good too. Came back after checking out for a snack lunch which was also very tasty.

The hotel Staff is very polite and always ready to help, the rooms are comfortable and well-heated. I enjoyed both the full Scottish breakfest in the morning and fish & chips in the evening. A great base to explore the Isle of Colonsay!

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming and the food was excellent. Wonderful views towards Jura. Nearby gardens at Colonsay House well worth a visit.

- If we book a room in spring what happens if we cannot reach the island due to bad (windy) weather? Do we need to take out insurance? Thanks NickWe recommend that guests take out UK travel insurance to cover ferry cancellations and other things that may disrupt your holiday. There are a number of policies available inc for Covid.
