The evening meal was excellent and prices were sensible , there was entertainment put on which consisted of a singing duo who were very good, breakfast was very enjoyable, we used the spa facilities which are outstanding, the views from the spa and restaurant are beautiful a really relaxing stay.

I thought that bringing the food out on a tray and putting it at the side for you to lift your items off and put back the dirty crockery/glasses was a good thing. It saved the staff time and also seemed a safer option.

Location is amazing and is the best thing about this hotel. Everything else was relatively faultless and we really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the cooked breakfast, where you are able to select from a menu, as well as help yourself to a great variety of cereals, fruit and juices. Delicious evening meals in the Huntsman, which overlooks the fabulous scenery in this location. The room was comfortable and the spa, jacuzzis and swimming pool exceeded our expectations.

One of the best shooting grounds in the country, The Coniston Shooting Ground was awarded Premier Plus Ground status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association.     Our down Stairs rooms are Dog Friendly, This is a charge of £15 Per Dog, per night ( Maximum of 2 allowed per room) Please note dogs are not to be left alone in room.

  • is there a fee to use the spa on top of the hotel booking?

    Spa access is additional, this is at £30 per person Monday - Thursday or £40 Friday - Sunday. This is 1 hour and 45 minutes use of the Nàdarra Spa Facilities and must be booked prior to arrival. Minimum age for the Nàdarra Spa is 18

  • What does the £25 half board mean? Does that mean we have £25 towards dinner per person included in the price? Also, does this include spa access?

    The £25 half board would be £25 per person to go towards the food in the restaurant and doesn't include drinks. The spa access is not included in the price and is an additional cost.

    Unfortunately, our bedrooms do not have hot tubs. However, we have thermal facilities at the spa, which must be booked in advance (extra charges apply)
