The room was lovely. Well decorated, comfy bed, very warm, and a good size. The television was a bit small but did have lots of streaming services, including Netflix. Breakfast was fantastic. The full English was great. There are a number of unusual items available, too. My wife had an eggy bread (I hesitate to call it eggy bread as it was so much more than that but i can't remember what it was called), bacon, banana and cinnamon dish. She loved it. This is not your average breakfast, by any means. There were several parking spaces on site. It was very close to Lowestoft beach, and also close to the town centre. The hosts were friendly and chatty without being overbearing.

    The Corner House does not offer an outside space for guest use. The Corner House is located just a 2 minute walk from the Beach and there are Bars, Restaurants and Cafes Close by.

  • Hello, Before I make a direct booking I would just like to ask what time is breakfast served midweek, please? (Probably a Wed and Thursday) I'm afraid I'm a rather like a slug in the mornings so last order timings are quite helpful to me... Thank you so much for your help with this matter.

  • I booked a double room but Booking.com suggested an upgrade by £5 to get a private bathroom as it made out it was shared. Should I have not paid this?

  • I ve selected 3 guests, which would be my Mother, myself and my 20 yr old daughter. Is this possible in this room please?

    We do have a family room which would accommodate three adults comfortably. The room has a double bed and a single bed with an ensuite toilet & shower

  • Hi. Do you have a secure building to house bicycles overnight please?

    We do not have a building in which to store bicycles. Other guests have chosen to lock them up in our carpark without any issue. All vehicles parked in our carpark are done so at owners risk. The Corner House holds no liability for damage or theft.

    The Corner House does not offer any Ground Floor Rooms for Guests. All bedroom accommodation is on the 1st and 2nd floors which is accessible by the main staircase. Please call The Corner House directly if you require a room on the 1st floor.

  • Have just booked double with a garden view can you confirm it has a toilet in room as booking.com is showing that we need to pay another £5 to get room with a toilet.

    All rooms are Ensuite with shower and toilet facilities. We do not know why Bookingcom do this as we have not authorised them to levy extra charges on our guests. Please go to thecornerhouse381 for more information about our rooms

The Corner House is just a few minutes walk to the award winning Blue Flag Beach. Located on London Road we have a private guest carpark is available for guests to use. Inside the house has many original features including a stunning tiled hall and fireplaces in most rooms. The guest rooms have original features and are furnished with traditional and modern furniture. All rooms are ensuite and have showers. Tea and Coffee making facilities are available in each room. Flatscreen Freeview TV's are in every room, some with DVD players. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. After a pleasant nights sleep a wide variety of breakfast options await you from a traditional Suffolk breakfast to fresh fruit and yoghurt and breads. Luggage storage is available.

Apart from the large sandy beach, there are a couple of piers with entertainment and a good choice of bars, traditional pubs and restaurants. The Suffolk coast offers plenty of choice with coastal walks through areas of outstanding natural beauty and nature reserves to golf courses and watersports. Oulton Broad (the southern gateway to The Broads National Park) is 3 miles away, Norwich is a 40 minute journey on the train, Great Yarmouth 12 miles away and Southwold also just 12 miles away. Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is 3 miles away. And if you're travelling by train, the station is a 20 minute walk. We are well connected to most Bus services too.
