Lovely cosy apartment in a historic house with beautiful gardens and friendly cats. Our hosts were so welcoming and thoughtfully provided drinks, snacks and milk. Off street parking. WiFi was excellent and the facilities like new. Minster village has a fantastic old church and abbey.

Lovely staff, comfortable mattress, good sized room, good shower.

Clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. My room did not have a view, but if you did get one it would be fabulous as the club is situated right opposite the marina. No breakfast or kitchen facilities, but they have everything you need (including a fridge) if you want to bring food in. I had the small twin, en suite and it was perfect for one person with enough room. Coffee, tea and a biscuit, plus water.
Burlington is set on the beachfront in Margate, 100 metres from The Bay Beach and 1.7 km from Walpole Bay Beach.

We didn't have long, just one night. The overall impression was wonderful, and we would return. Our daughter lost her cuddly toy (probably on a trip outside) and the staff tried their best to help her. Even when it wasn't found, she was kindly gifted something else as a substitute.

The King's Arms is a very old property and therefore the owner/manager is limited in what they can do. The decoration in the room is a little tired but reasonable clean. All normal facilities provided in the room. Meals were very good and the staff were very helpful. Reasonable value for money and parking was easy despite the King's Arms beng on the main street into Sandwich
We had a great break at Poppy Lodge. Everything was provided by our hosts, Gary and Steph. The lodge was great and heated throughout which was helpful as the weather was a bit mixed. The hot tub was excellent that made a great addition to our holiday. Also, the lodge provided a great place for our small dog, Ted, as it was safe and secure allowing him to explore things around the lodge. Would thoroughly recommend to others.

I didn’t like any of it
I didn’t like any of it
The first room I was given was in the basement with a view of a wall no settee bed and no soap in the toilet to wash my hands
After complaining was moved to another room that was ok
How ever there was no chef on site so had to go to premier inn for dinner
The staff were very helpful and friendly but were limited to what they could do
I normally stay at premier inn when I go away but heard such good things about holiday inn I thought I’d give it ago
Was very disappointed and after talking to other people staying there they said the same

Pleasant enough, clean & tidy..... although I had booked a standard room... I assumed it would be a double bed but on arrival I ended up with a room with 2 single beds...., apparently you have to specify but I didn’t see that, so be careful!!!! I have to say the bed & bedding were really nice... super comfy bed.
Nice staff.
Really nice breakfast but NO fried eggs just scrambled (not bad)
I would recommend for a pass through or business but not for a romantic visit.

This was a last minute booking so had to to take what was on offer. I didn't know Minster but found it to be in a great position for visiting this part of the Kent Coast and surrounding Cities, Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Castle, and the rest of the Cinque Ports. Some of the beaches in this area are fabulous. Can't say much more apart from we all enjoyed our stay and will probably return sometime in the future.

I thought it worth mentioning that some visitors to the hotel state that the outside looks dated.
Years ago, it was an Art Deco pub and I believe that the local council had an order placed on the building- that it should be preserved as much as possible to it’s original status- which the hotel has implemented very well to the original building.
The Manston airport, directly opposite , has a wonderful little museum with an original Spitfire inside it. This actual aircraft was positioned in the open for many years after World War Two, on the actual spot of the museum.
During The Battle Of Britain, many brave pilots took off from this runway… A must to visit!

Breakfast was not nice scrambled eggs ready made had a funny taste and cheap sausages. Only stayed there as needed to visit hospital nearby. The accessible bathroom was good though but beds were comfy but far too high
This hotel is perfect, we had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely wonderful and then the best night sleep in a huge comfy bed. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the breakfast was another level entirely (the homemade bread!!!)
Far better value than a hotel with separate kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. Very clean with everything you need including a few extras like eggs, bread, cereal etc
Perfect location for us with off street parking. Comfy apartment with a small kitchenette , we use it regularly as a home from home when visiting relatives in Minster .
The room was spacious. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The hotel felt clean and tidy. The breakfast was a buffet, which was good. The bacon was especially nice.
Really easy to find with off-road parking right outside. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Location was only a few yards from the centre of Minster.
