There are footpaths throughout the 500 acre arable farm, also a large pond with ducks on the grounds of this property.. All on the ground floor. Living/dining room: With electric wood burner, Freeview TV and DVD player. Kitchen: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With twin beds. Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet. . Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Large garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Swimming pool, 9m x 4.5m, max depth 2.4m, heated in summer (private). Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond 20 yards away.. Enjoy the privtae covered outdoor heated swimming pool (heated only through summer period). Situated in the grounds of the owners Grade II listed hall house which dates back to 1653, this detached cottage is elegantly furnished to a very good standard. Ulric the Thane was Lord of the manor in early Saxon times and Whittingham Hall was often visited by Prince Edward I.
