Beautiful setting on Loch Fyne, we asked for & git a room with a view of the Loch which was truly spectacular. The room was large and the bathroom had a separate shower as well as bath. The cleanliness was excellent. The choice and quality of the food was excellent, both evening meals & breakfast.

I have stayed in Strachur before so I know the location and the Creggans Inn is in a good location for exploring Argyll. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable and the view over Loch Fyne stunning. The food exceeded my expectations - poached egg on poached smoked haddock for breakfast was my favourite but all breakfast choices were superb. Evening meals also excellent, superbly presented and very tasty. Also the local ales from Fyne Ales farm brewery complemented the meal and visiting them to buy ales or just to have a coffee or an ales was worth making room in the car for a case or two! Also although not used by me the presence of a first floor lounge overlooking the loch as well as the ground floor lounge in addition to the bar area was a very tranquil setting.

A perfect location by the loch. Excellent food and menu choices. Very omfortable room and spacious bethroom

Fabulous location. Great old inn with fantastic lounges and good food.

Good parking, lovely welcome, great staff (all very helpful), exceptionally clean hotel, room was good, food and range of wine was great. Great bar area for relaxing after trip out and evening meal. Perfect for what I wanted from a short break and good WFI connection as promised.

Great location with spectacular views, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic setting and inside was lovely. everyone who worked there was so helpful and friendly thank you so much.

We were landing late and they were so helpful from the start and stayed up to let us in. Hotel is spotless, staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are good size with fresh decor albeit slightly dated but that didn’t matter. Food was delicious and service great. Location was amazing with a view across the loch and walks from the doorstep.

We loved the location of the hotel, our room (5) was nicely decorated, furnished with comfy bed, large bathroom, great views and very comfortable. Service was good, the breakfast was great and the common areas of the hotel (lounges, bar, restaurant) are all really nicely done out. They have a couple of benches lochside which are just amazing for sunset drinks.

The staff were excellent, the room clean and comfortable and the location beautiful. The food was lovely most of the time.
