Comfort, plus a lovely full english breakfast cooked fresh! It was clean, quiet and homely! Room excellent, car parking excellent, very well located for whatever/ wherever you'd want to do. Staff excellent too. Will definitely go back and for longer.

In the past history of the Crown House, two Kings and a Queen have stopped there ,that's how the staff and value for money accommodation made me feel.The Breakfast was the best I have ever Tasted .

Staff were great very attentive and helpful. Even called the supplier as I wished to know the meat content of the sausages, over and beyond! I was a tad embarrassed to be so fussed over.

The bed was so soft in was lovely, the Crown room, 4 poster sunken bath heaven, staff were so friendly and food was perfection, will come back in the summertime when we can sit on the patio, hotel was peaceful, no noise even thou on the main road, ample parking with separate accommodation for those with dogs etc,

The hotel has been independently owned by the current owner since the sixties. We are proud to be an independent, non corporate hotel. Tina has been the manager of The Crown House Hotel for six years. We have many guests who return to us time and time again. We cannot please everyone all of the time, and we always act on feedback. it is a testament to Tina and the staff however that we have so much positive feedback, guests say that the hotel is charming , the staff are helpful and the food is both delicious and generous. Whether it is a Wedding, Birthday Party, Christening, Business meeting or a Cream Tea, Tina takes a personal interest, and looks after you and your guests with that personal touch. Since Tina took over as manager, she has refurbished the rooms. This year many of the bathrooms have been replaced and new showers installed. The Dining Room has also been renovated and refurbished. We have been joined in 2014 by Chris, a chef committed to serving excellent food at a competitive price, without compromising on quality or variety. He is passionate about his food, giving the same care and attention equally to Banquets or Evening Meals.We have a large free car park.
