“All the staff were lovely. Being an old building I didn’t expect the room to be as big as it was. I have fibromyalgia so had to ask for an extra quilt, so I could lay on one and put the other over me, it was provided immediately. The meals were superb and so much nicer as I didn’t have to cook them myself. The hotel car park wasn’t very big but we normally managed to find a space on the road and parking was free which is rare these days.”

“The room was nice, clean, comfy and spacious. The cooked warm breakfast served on the table was superb. The hotel has very limited guest parking but there's free parking outside on the street. A very nice place to stay in the lovely little village of Long Melford, which is very close to Lavenham.”
