Food in Pub was excellent - Ate in Pub both nights.

The staff were very friendly and professional. especially Tracy she was very on the ball you can tell she takes pride in her job and making your stay relaxing . The location was peaceful and beautiful .It was great fun and lovely to see so many dogs . we had an amazing stay thank you .

It was a great room with a garden (not all rooms have this). Was a perfect location for a party we were attending at the Black Bull. Staff on check-in, at the bar and breakfast were extremely welcoming.

The location was in such a quiet and picturesque village where the Crown fitted in perfectly. The room that we stayed in was excellent, it was full of character, really clean, well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a smart modern bathroom. Downstairs was a bar and dining area(s) that had character and charm, the staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was in the conservatory which was a great location to enjoy a very good selection of choices, which were locally sourced where applicable (meat, eggs etc).

I had a wonderful mushroom omelette on the first day but on the second day chose smoked salmon and scrambled egg, salmon was chopped up in the egg !! sloppy and not at all what I expected.
