The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it !
Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful !
Unfortunately the lady on the reception desk when we arrived was not so pleasant, kept talking over me which is found very frustrating.

Lovely small, vibrant town with a good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink and small independent shops. Nice local history too with the Crickhowell Bridge and the ruins of the castle in town as well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The Bear is very central in a delightful little town.
The Bear is very central in a delightful little town. Ample parking. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. It was a well.motivated trained happy team. Always busy with guests and locals but it ran very smoothly
Kestrel Inn is well-sited and overlooks the scenic Cwmdu valley. The Inn and its rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are welcoming with much-needed advice on places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was cooked by the owners, which we appreciated greatly, and dinners were found in the historic village of Crickhowell, which is only a 6 minute drive away. The Inn is well-placed to explore Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bicycle, with quiet country lanes starting literally over the road.
Location was right in town, easy accessible to local shops and pubs.
The actual property was beautiful, clean, fully furnished kitchen, with bathroom soaps and accessories.
Clear instructions were left on how to use heating, washing machine, etc.
Board games provided, Disney +, lots of channels available.
Felt like a home away from home. Would 150% recommend this place. Crickhowell is so pretty!
We wanted a place to stay near Crickhowell so we could start our walk first thing in the morning, and this inn definitely exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend you eat there in the evenings, they have great Jamaican food. The breakfast is described as continental but is better than the average continental breakfast as there are also crumpets/waffles/pastries etc.
Lovely period accommodation, right Inthe middle of this lovely little town and retaining lots of original features, slightly quirky - but everything we needed was there. For our business trip so much better than a hotel as we were able work at the dining table. We had breakfast at the dragon inn which I highly recommend.
Great location, friendly staff, great food with a decent wine list, great breakfast selection including a hot breakfast cooked fresh, clean and comfortable room, on site parking in the heart of Crickhowell....room was clean and bed was really comfortable and cozy! Hotel is nicely finished with up to date decor.
Lovely period cottage, nicely decorated and the kind of holiday home I love staying in. Beds were really comfy, great bathroom and nicely decorated. Well placed close to the main area. The staff at the Dragon inn were exceptionally helpful and handy to be able to park there.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location in the small town of Crickhowell. Nearby cafes and restaurants and lovely walks. Very comfortable and spacious house. Had everything we needed and more. This is our second time here, and we'd love to return again.
excellent old style large country house in the village of llangattock although a 15 minute stroll from the centre of Crickhowell it suited my needs as i was in the area on a walking weekend. Not corporate which is what i was looking for. Great staff very helpful.
very warm welcome, clean and nice room, generous (more than a continental) breakfast. We stayed in a room above the Pub space and it was not a nuisance at all. a short walk into Crickhowell. ideal to explore the beautiful National Park. Def recommend it.
Charming hotel in a great location to explore and enjoy Crickhowell. Fantastic welcome from our hosts Alex and Cory . Room was lovely with great views . Breakfast was brilliant. Couldn’t fault the place. We will be returning in the future.
A great place to stay. Facilities excellent. We were a group of 6 adults. Plenty of space, good location 5-10 mins walk to Crickhowell. Immaculately clean. Good correspondence with the owner. I would definitely recommend this place.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and very dog friendly. Meals were excellent.
Accommodation in lovely courtyard, very good size room and ensuite.
definitely recommend
Self catering but was in the middle of town with plenty of choice of eateries.close to pubs and restaurants.Nearby riverside walks and and boat hire on canal.
