This was the third time we have stayed at The Devonian over the years and am pleased to say it has never disappointed us. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. The Devonian has always been spotlessly clean anyway but I was particularly impressed with how seriously extra Covid-19 cleaning measures were being undertaken. Breakfast is top notch with a good variety of options - It was also great to be able to have a nice early 07.30 breakfast in order to make the most of the day. The Devonian is reasonably priced for Douglas IOM and I like it's location which is fairly central just off the promedade.

Very handy location for overseas visitors and locals alike, as very close to Douglas Town Centre, walking distance to Villa Marina, Gaiety Theatre, Pubs and Restaurants, Beach and Promenade. What a fantastic choice of breakfast from the very welcoming hosts. The single bedroom was really nice - the bed felt firm and very comfortable - with a good shower. There were at least a dozen breakfast choices, from traditional fry-up, through Manx kippers, eggs benedict and pancakes to a delicious black pud and apple tower.

Located 2 minutes’ walk from the beach, The Devonian features a view over the Glen Falcon and landscaped gardens. Douglas town center and the start and finish point for the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race are just a 5-minute walk.

    Hi Taxi or buses. We can pre book a taxi for you for you alternatively you may use the taxi rank outside the arrivals area. The bus also departs from here.

  • Do you have some type of bicycle storage or a room/shed to put 9 road bikes in?

    We can store about 4/5 push bikes but i think 9 may be a litle too much for the space we have. Sorry.

    Dear Tony Thank you for your enquiry, unfortunately due to the lay out of the Victorian building we do not have a lift or rooms on the ground floor. I believe the Mannin hotel and the Sefton both have lifts and external ramps into the buildings. Kind regards Gillian

  • Hello. I plan to bring my bicycle to Isle of Man. Do you have any space to put it on safely? Ryo

    Hi Yes we do, overnight we can lock your bike in a secure area. During the day we have bull rings at the back of the hotel and bike locks so you may come and go . Thank you Gillian
