The location was great. The staff were all friendly and their whisky bar was very impressive.

United KingdomWe were blown away by the Dowans of Speyside. The hotel itself is furnished and done up to a VERY high quality and feels like luxury from the moment you walk in. The staff were incredibly friendly and personable - a few of them knew us by name by the end, and we had some great conversations and got some great advice from them! The 'whisky snug' room is a fantastic place to retire to after dinner and have a dram or two (with ~600 bottles on show and available for selection). We stayed at the Dowans as part of our honeymoon, and this was our favourite place that we stayed!

SloveniaFirst visit to the Dowans and most certainly won’t be the last! Outstanding, everything about it is outstanding! And the breakfast is one of the best hotel brekkies we’ve had!
United KingdomFood was disappointing. Menu hasn’t changed in a couple of years and the Cooper Dog in Cragellachie has upped its game so I would say nice hotel but food doesn’t live up to the quality of the hotel
