“We stayed in the Dower House Apartment No. 1, and it was perfect! The living room and bedroom are very spacious with access to a beautiful private garden. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and look brand new. Neil, the host is the absolute best. He found out we were staying there after are wedding and gifted us a bottle of champagne. All in all I wish we could have stayed longer and will tell all my family and friends that will visit to stay here instead of the commercial hotels chains.”

“The rooms were beautiful and the whole house was lovely. We stayed for three nights and with the full kitchen, separate bedroom and access to laundry facilities, it was an excellent stay. Neil even had milk, tea, coffee, and all of the little things that you need to prepare a meal, on-hand, so we didn’t have to run into town. A cab ride was 5 pounds to town so we were very close to everything. A wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone!”

“We liked everything about this property. The owner Neil could not have been more helpful and his attention to detail was amazing. The house is very special and the Christmas lights and model village were an unexpected bonus for our stay. We loved this place and cannot think of anything that could have been improved. Dower House is in a very quiet location with no local facilities so you need to be aware of this. However there is a 'Beefeater' about a 15min walk away - we didn't try it. We caught the bus to town from a 'stop' about 8 mins away. We were in Apartment 3.”

“Lovely apartment in a beautiful village. Very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. Location is good to get into Lincoln, we walked in (approx 30min) and took a taxi back which took about 5 minutes. Niel the host is great, very interesting story about the building! Would definitely stay again.”
