“Amazing room, looks and feels even better than the photos. Everything is top quality, from the bed and decorations to the bathroom furnishings. It is also kept in tip top condition! Complimentary Lavazza coffee, great tea and beer in the room. In the morning, you are served an a la carte, high-class restaurant quality breakfast with lots of options to find your favourite (for us it was the most tasty eggs Benedict we've had so far). “Very comfortable bed and lovely room. Little touches made extra special like complementary biscuits every day and proper milk fresh everyday in in-room fridge, were very nice. Breakfast delicious with the best scrambled eggs ever tasted. Very friendly staff and check in very welcoming. A short walk from De la Warr pavilion so ideal if going to performance there. Has its own restaurant with excellent food and also numerous restaurants in the vicinity. Bexhill-on-Sea is a really nice place to spend a few days. Would highly recommend this hotel.” Read more

“The Driftwood is stunning with outstanding attention to detail. The rooms are furnished beautifully and perfectly clean There was complimentary beer, milk and biscuits, which was a lovely touch. And absolutely wonderful toiletries in the bathroom. I loved the dressing gowns too! If you’re staying there, I highly recommend eating there as well. One of the owners also cooks, and her food is really fantastic and delicious. Breakfast is also wonderful and excellently cooked. I also felt very safe staying there in terms of the precautions the hotel had in place for COVID, this place really has covered everything. The owners are very friendly and helpful. “This was my second visit to the Driftwood - it's a really lovely hotel ,with friendly and helpful staff ,great breakfasts (inc coffee !! not always good even in the best hotels) and warm and comfortable rooms and facilities. This time my room was smaller than first visit ,still a really nice room with the welcome touches of a fridge containing beer, water and milk , alongside a coffee machine and homemade biscuits but I did feel was missing a coat hook and perhaps a more convenient bedside light.
