Excellent breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Although we stayed in the Hayloft 1 bed cottage (Excellent) we were treated the same as geusts staying at the hotel. We will be back next year. Thanks to all the staff that made my wife and I very welcome indeed.

Fast check-in, check-out. Everything you needed. They upgraded me to a double as I asked for a bath after the blustery north- thank you! much needed! Firm comfy bed- great nights sleep! Great location to castles, golf course. Booked night before and was absolutely perfect.

I think we were expecting a buffet breakfast which would have allowed us to choose for example yoghurt and fruit. It was a little odd to have to request cereal for example. The staff were very nice.

We loved our room (2) beautifully decorated and a big comfortable bed. Good shower and lovely Arran toiletries Vegan dishes on the menu. We had the curry and the chilli. Both were very good. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The meals where all superb value for what you pay plus the service you got that to was superb could not do enough for you,rooms where nice the bed was so comfortable plus you had everything you needed tv,WiFi,even down to hair dryer. Reasonable prices for drinks had a very good selection so no complaints from my party of nine😊

    Thank you for your question. We are very pet friendly here. For the rooms and cottages there is a £5.00 per pet per night supplement, but we are more than happy to accept dogs. We also have a pet friendly lounge in which you can eat and drink with your pets.

  • if we would come over to stay at your hotel, we plan to arrive and leave by train and would like to visit the Alnwick Castle. Do you rent out bikes with which we could go to the castle? Is it an easy road? Thanks a lot for your reply. Kind regards, Anouk
