United States of AmericaWe opened the room door and both stood in silence and then simultaneously said “Wow!” The room, well suite, is just so gorgeous. It is a beautiful large space with lovely period decor, massive windows and high ceilings. It’s the first time I think I have ever said “I could live here” when referring to a hotel room. Absolutely wonderful, like Claridges for a fraction of the cost. Parking is to the rear of the property and is both private and free. Oh and there’s a Nespresso machine and a microwave too The area and surrounding properties are all pure Georgian affluence, and as a location, it isn’t a bad walk into the centre of Edinburgh

The property is located in a lovely but quiet part of the city where there are beautiful crescents and gardens and it is a short walk to restaurants and attractions. It also offered free parking which is one of the main reasons we chose it. Would absolutely choose it again, once renovations are done.
