A gem of a city, and a secret that now the people of Edinburgh are cottoning onto. It's got a beautiful Heritage Quarter with loads of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. Fantastic old buildings, a huge amount of history and one of the most beautiful parks in the world - Pittencrieff Park - is glorious. It really is like a mini-Edinburgh without the fuss and crowds, and such a lovely place to hang out.

We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day.
Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels.
All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future

the town is compact and the centre has all the shops you might need and plenty of places to eat
there is a lot of history to the place and if youve never been there is plenty to take in
road access is good from the m90 and parking is easy
its also just a short train journey to either Glasgow or Edinburgh
This is a period country house hotel in beautiful gardens. The rooms were immaculately clean, attractive large room with ample space and storage. The breakfast choice was excellent and service very attentive. We ate in the dining room one evening and the standard of cuisine and service was again excellent, a most enjoyable meal.
We will be visiting Dunfermline often as our daughter has relocated there, and the Garvock will definitely be our place to stay, thank you to all the staff for your kindness and for making our stay so enjoyable.
This is a functional and clean hotel in Dunfermline. It’s pretty basic but just fine for a working stay. I needed to have my dog with me and the hotel was happy to have her. Breakfast is self service and you can take it away. That was so helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. There’s lots of parking and it’s lovely that both breakfast and parking were free. So no extras . I appreciated that.
This was our first experience with a Witherspoon hotel and we were very pleased. The location was right where we wanted to be and we enjoyed an evening walk around Dunfermline. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the price was a good value. Once we found our way in, the staff person at the bar was friendly, informative and efficient.
Absolute fantastic wee hotel. Brent the owner went above and beyond for us. Rooms were spotless. Best hotel bed I have slept in, in a while! Bathroom modern. The hotel has a lovely warm charm to it. And it's quiet!!! All on ground floor so will come back with my elderly grandparents at some point.
Room was large, airy and clean. Hotel messaged ahead of check in offering to accommodate later check ins if necessary. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were a nice touch. Staff in the morning were lovely and upbeat. Great setting - beautiful area to visit! Can’t wait to come back!
An exceptional hidden gem in the centre of Dunfermline. Spotlessly clean toilet and room with a very comfortable bed resulting in a good night's sleep. The host was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful..I will return and highly recommend this hotel
We liked that the hotel was just outside the town centre, as we wanted a nice place to just chill out and relax, where the hotel is located there is still plenty of things to do around the hotel there were lots of places to eat.
Booked here for my daughters dance weekend. The coorie is a little hidden gem. Easy enough to get from Dunfermline city centre by bus 6 stops right outside. Staff are lovely and the family room was amazing. We will be back!
always try to book this hotel, perfect for what we need when we come up to Scotland, great location, really nice rooms, nice n clean...walking distance to any pub and town centre, cannot go wrong
I liked that the hotel was close to the airport and sites that we could visit. It was also close to restaurants which made it good to get some good food when needed.
