“The property was spacious enough and well provided with all necessary things. The adjacent field with a goal, balls and many toys was a great feature. The staff were extremely helpful, efficient and quick ”

“Fiona was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. There was a very good coop supermarket and just a short walk away. There was a well stocked library with books, DVDs and games. Also plenty of leaflets and maps of Guernsey. The location is perfect, easy to get to St Peter Port and some of the nicest walks on Guernsey are direct from the cottage. The bus stop is very handy and there is a really good bus service at a straight £1 per ticket. We really enjoyed our stay, a lovely island and very welcoming.”

“Spacious, bright accommodation with all the facilities we needed for a self catering break. The location of the property was perfect, being quiet but within walking distance of the coast & St Peters - in fact we walked to all parts of the island and got the bus back !”

“We didn’t have the best weather for our stay in Guernsey, but our cottage was so cosy and comfortable that it almost didn’t matter. There was plenty of space in our two bedroom cottage and it was nice not to feel cramped. The lounge was huge with two sofas and a great space to relax in. Plenty of tv channels and WiFi was very good. The bathroom was lovely and clean and selection of toiletries provided. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. Lots of storage space. Fiona our host was friendly and helpful, checking our ferry was still running on our departure day. Some had been cancelled due to high winds . Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Guernsey. And excellent location in the village plus walking distance from St Peter Port.”

“At the Ellingham cottages you feel welcome everytime. The cottage has a clean bathroom with big shower and very fluffy towels and bathrobes. The beds are very cushy. The living room has 2 comfortable couches, a tv, receiver, dvd-player. There is also a dining table with chairs for sitting and having dinner. The terrace have a nice place to sit and in front of the house too. There is a washing machine in the kitchen, which we appreciate very much. Fiona is such a warm and hearty person, it is always a pleasure to stay here. The hole team are always diligent and very obliging. Everytime again! Thank you!”
