The whole experience was incredible. The house is in a beautiful garden with sheep grazing nearby. Easy drive to dinner. The hosts were ever so friendly and welcoming. Large room. Fantastic breakfast.

  • Whst is the difference between the 2 rooms left please. Seem to say the same. And same size

    Both of our rooms are en suite; one is upstairs, with a view of the garden and surrounding countryside. It is larger than the other room and has its own settee. The ground floor room is smaller, but it has separate access and opens into the garden.

Here together with their two faithful dogs, a few sheep, geese and their lovely black & white cat, Alan & Sandra are extremely keen gardeners and have a wealth of local knowledge to share to help you enjoy your stay on the Welsh Marches.

We can help you find a lovely country pub for supper, direct you to a beautiful waterfall, a day at the coast, expansive gardens at Powis Castle, an Iron Age fort, tell you all about local bookshops, museums and tearooms and spread out maps after breakfast to help you enjoy your stay in this countryside, the best kept secret in Mid Wales and the Shropshire Hills.
