Breakfast was full english, with a black pudding which was excellent. There was also the option of cereal or yoghurts and toast and jam etc. full spread :).
United KingdomEverything, it was excellent. Beautiful cosy pub, wonderful hosts and lovely little dog Barney. We will be sure to be back, when we can! Excellent Dales driving around the pub too, which makes the drive there even more wonderful. The food was ‘proper pub grub’ reasonably priced and HUGE portions - so make sure you’re hungry! Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and lots of cereal and refreshments options. Plus fresh milk in the room fridge and a nice tot of Port on arrival! The room was spotlessly finished, and sanitised with excellent measures in place to maintain the social distancing rules and ensure that we were and felt safe. We loved our stay.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had and evening meal was absolutely delicious. Great central place for local attractions. A great find would highly recommend.

Located within the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Foresters Arms is a Grade II listed property nestled under the peaks of Roova Crags and Penhill. Guests can also enjoy a hand-pulled cask ale by a log fire in the on-site bar.
Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with DVD player and an private bathroom with underfloor heating is provided in each room at The Foresters. Tea/coffee making facilities and homemade biscuits are also on offer.
A full cooked breakfast is available, along with a lunch and evening menu, and locally sourced produce is used where possible.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park hosts a wealth of beautiful scenery, a range of wildlife and a wide variety of outdoor activities, such as rocking climbing, horse riding and water sports. The town of Leyburn is 6 miles away.
