Set in the beautiful North York Moors National Park, the Fox & Hounds Inn is a great base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery of the moors and the region’s heritage coastline.   • Hi, Hopefully we will be visiting your hotel soon, are we able to use the facilities i.e the bar and restaurant at the moment due to covid regs? Also would our dog be able to accompany us in these areas as I would not want to leave her in the room? Thanks

    Hello. Yes the bar and restaurant are both currently open as usual. The only restriction in place for us at the moment is a 10pm curfew, however this of course may change. Dogs are welcome in all areas besides the restaurant. Kind regards

We are also less then 1 mile from Danby, where you can catch the train directly to Whitby, and is home to the National Parks Visitor Centre. Please let me know if I can assist with anything else.     Hi. Standard rooms have king size beds and the superior room is a super king. All rooms are ensuite, some have walk-in showers and some have shower-baths. If you require a walk-in, just let us know.
