Experience World-class Service at The Gantocks

With unrestricted views across Loch Linnhe and next to the center of Fort William, The Gantocks offers a cup of tea and shortbread to guests on arrival, as well as free Wi-Fi.

In the morning, a huge choice of traditional and vegetarian breakfasts are offered from 7:30 until 9:00 in the Cumming Room, which features stunning views over the Loch and possible seal sightings.

Every room has a 6 feet wide bed, a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and an private bathroom with free toiletries and bathrobes. One of the rooms has views over Loch Linnhe and another has views of the rear garden.

Fort William Ferry Landing, with ferries for seal-spotting cruises, is a 2-minute drive away. Guests can also enjoy a steam train ride from Fort William to Mallaig on the “Hogwarts Express” as seen in the Harry Potter films.

Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.

The Gantocks is a luxury, 5 star Bed and Breakfast in Fort William with stunning, unrestricted views across Loch Linnhe to the Ardgour hills yet it is on the edge of our town centre - a pleasant 15 minute walk along the shore (or pavement) and through Achintore gardens.

As one of the few 5 Star Gold bed and breakfast establishments in the area, we strive to offer you a very high quality of service and accommodation.

Fort William is probably best known because our Highland town is located at the foot of the highest mountain in the UK - Ben Nevis. Each year more than 500,000 people visit Fort William to climb up the mountain which rises from sea-level to 4,411 feet in a relatively short distance. Visitors come to Fort William from all over the world to sample our friendly welcome and hospitality, to experience Highland culture, for history, archaeology, varied wildlife and of course to discover our wonderful scenery of mountains, glens, rivers and lochs.
