“The location is superb, the Village of Nunney is lovely and the castle is a real treat. Our rooms all looked out onto it. The George is dog friendly and they provided our dog with a bed, bowl and some dog treats which was great. There were some good country walks accessible from the village. The staff were friendly and accommodating, this was while adapting to the new COVID 19 guidelines which they did very well while putting us at ease. We liked the friendly atmosphere of the pub which was popular with locals and visitors alike. It was very quiet at night so we all slept well. On the whole we were happy with the food at The George. The evening meals were really good they were operating a limited menu due to COVID 19 restrictions but they had some specials at the weekend which were welcome.”

“Spacious, immaculate room with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was quite small but had a bath and shower. Exceptionally good lighting! The food was good, mostly pub classics done very well. My eggs royale for breakfast was one of the best I've ever had!”
