“Chef cooked breakfast that felt decadent and pampering. Owner welcomed us so warmly we felt like treasured guests. Room was clean, comfortable and sophisticated while still cosy. Immaculate but personal place to stay and while there were other guests, it was so quiet we felt we were staying in someone's home. As an American, I was completely blown away by the charming old buildings, so walking the village was a real treat. The only challenge was driving on England's narrow roads and a GPS that gave us slightly imperfect directions but that had nothing to do with this wonderful small hotel.”
