Originally built in 1756, the Georgian House Hotel is a Grade II listed historic building combining traditional, old-world charm with modern comforts and facilities. There are 18 rooms with attached bathroom, each of which is individually styled and furnished to reflect the building’s historic character. Some of the bedrooms offer the luxury of a four-poster bed and all rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is close to all that Derby has to offer, including many of the area's businesses, the University of Derby and the city’s shops. With open fires, the elegant restaurant offers an à la carte menu and a selection of fine wines. The cozy traditional bar is featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, and has Sky Sports, real ales, a selection of wines, good food and one of the largest beer gardens in the city.
