Location for walking in the Shadow of Scafell Pike was superb.
AustraliaGreat price for a well-located pub just a hop, step and a jump from Wasdale and all its glories. The room was clean and comfortable and I had a good stay. There's no food available at the moment - I understand the kitchen is under development though - but I knew that beforehand and so made alternative arrangements.
United KingdomGreat cafe next to the accommodation. Friendly staff. Amazing shower! Really pleasant stay, even when the pub was busy you couldnt hear it in the rooms.
United KingdomPerfect location in terms of ease of access to various attractions / walks. The Ravenglass Railway, Muncaster Castle, Scafell Pike, St. Bees Beach and Whitehaven are all within a half hour drive. All of these were absolutely amazing visits. The room itself was nice and cozy, nothing fancy but perfect for people just stopping over for a few nights.

United KingdomFriendly and easy going staff, no fuss. Parking is not a problem, there is a free car park nearby (1 minute walk from the inn). Great location - close to the beach and the Wastwater Lake.
HungaryOur Room was very clean and cozy, comfortable bed, bar staff very friendly, quiet area. Pub opposite us. Close to beautiful locations that we wanted to visit during our little break. Can't fault it.

United KingdomQuiet area, free parking in the car park down the road, great area for walkers. Room was an OK size and well worth the price we paid. Bed was OK, shower was very good except where one morning we seemed to have run out of hot water. For the price in the lakes in July Id love to see you do better than this place, it costs more for a bed in a YMCA Shop across the road does a nice breakfast lunch takeaway option.
