“Was with our dog and our little boy,dog wasn't aloud in restaurant and wee one not aloud in the bar so had to eat outside with the limited menu we could of ate in our room but wasn't really wjat we wanted to do. Would off been nice to maybe have a separate bit in restaurant that aloud dogs. All in all though apart from that good value for money nice staff,nice room and comfy bed”

“The Golf Hotel is in the heart of tiny Crail, right on the bus line. Crail is a beautiful seaside town, and you can walk anywhere from the hotel in minutes. Breakfasts were good, although we wished there had been plain yogurt amongst the flavored ones. Staff was very friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, and it was very good.”

“The Golf Hotel is an excellent independently-owned establishment, which could teach a thing or two to larger hotel chains. The building is historic with a lot of quirky charm, but the bedrooms and public rooms are kitted out to a high standard of comfort. The staff are friendly and professional. Food here is superb. Evening meals comprise either dinner menu, or traditional Scottish High Tea. Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have enjoyed; vegetarian full breakfast (complete with veggie haggis) for my partner, and delicious smoked haddock with poached egg for me. Faultless.”

“The location along the main street was perfect, and we found it to be very comfortable. The rooms aren't huge, but the size was adequate. The breakfast was nice, with a wide variety of choices. I will definitely stay here again if ever come back to Crail.”
