Lovely cottage with views out to the stables. Our host greeted us on arrival and had the heating on ready ! It was nice waking up to the sound of the horses. Nice big kitchen / diner with everything we needed for meals. Sky TV in the lounge kept my youngest quiet ! The bedrooms were comfy and homely. Nice hot and powerful shower. The cottage is ideally placed a few minutes walk from the very picturesque village of Bishop Monkton, around 10 mins drive to Ripon and 20 mins to Lightwater Valley.

The owners were very friendly and the horses were beautiful. The dogs were lots of fun too! The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and it’s very close to lots of interesting places.

We were visiting family in Ripon, so the location was perfect. Being on the farm was delightful with the horses as neighbours. The cottage was so picturesque and peaceful, lovely clean comfortable accommodation and I would visit again.
