Staff were so welcoming and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and had it not been raining, I would have definitely had breakfast outdoors. Breakfast was incredibly filling with more than one course and a variety of foods on offer. I will most definitely stay here again the next time I am in the Lake District.

We recently stayed at this hotel and can thoroughly recommend it if your planning on staying in Grasmere , the room was spotless and the food both breakfast and dinner were excellent , probably more a couples / adult hotel as opposed to one for a family break in my opinion , however the best part was the friendly welcome you received from the staff at the hotel , they were extremely friendly and good fun to chat to , they were very attentive and certainly raised the bar in terms of the service we have received at similar hotels

    Thank you for your enquiry. We do not have a lift in the hotel. Our stairs are very shallow and we also have two downstairs bedrooms. Hope this helps
