Evening meal and wide selection of drinks. Quiet location

Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Landlady was unusually helpful. My son and I were cycling and the large heated towel rail in the spacious wet room were a great help for drying damo cycling clothes.

  • Hi I want to book a standard double room for 8th June . I am doing a short cycle tour of Wiltshire and will need a safe place to store the bike overnight. Is that something you can offer? If so I'll book straight away. Thanks Mike de Val

    Yes we have a lockable bike store you can put your bike in. It can hold up to 4 bikes I believe. Nicky

    There are some taxis but mainly they come from Devizes so can be quite pricey.

    Breakfast is included. This is a pub with rooms and we serve meals in the pub, there isn't a separate lounge for bed and breakfast guests.

  • Hi please can you tell me what time breakfast is from? And if you let animals in all the rooms, I have asthma so it affects me sometimes. I would be looking for a single room. Thanks

    We do allow dogs but we spray the rooms after each guest with disinfectant. I guess it depends how sensitive you are to animal fur. Breakfast is from 7.30

  • Hi are you open for B&B week commencing 3rd May and what restrictions do you expect will be in place then? Thanks.

    We are allowed to open for people working, attending funerals or moving house at the moment. If all goes to plan, we will be allowed to open the rooms from the 12th of April, as they are self contained units, but only to members of the same family.
