“If I could have stayed longer I would have but sadly we arrived early evening and left early morning, so didn't get to experience the full charms of this smashing pub. Lovely wonky ceilings and old features alongside really comfortable and well kept rooms. Would love to come back one day.”

“Amazing room, we had the Oxford suite, very comfortable with a separate lounge area. The food was fantastic, we had an evening and breakfast , best food we had had for sometime. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional, and the whole place was very well geared up to the Covid challenge, we felt totally safe. Would 100% recommend.”

“Overall it was amazing: staff working there were really friendly, there was a great set of maps for us to go on a short walk, dinner was "the best steak I've ever had" according to my partner, my food was also brilliant, and the suite was lush. The nice touches (a cute radio in the room, shortbread, milk in a thermos rather than those wasteful little plastic dispensers) was very appreciated.”

“Have stayed at the Greyhound before so knew what to expect. Check-in was hassle free; we were then shown to our room and given a quick overview - you don't get that often. Room was outstanding, very clean and comfortable with a shower to die for!! Booked a table for dinner and staff were kind enough to move our booking to our preferred time as they had a cancellation (I didn't ask, they asked if we'd like to change without being prompted!). Food and drink was great, all reasonably priced and couldn't fault the service. Breakfast was lovely with wide choice on offer (including gluten free options for my partner).”
