Located in Bude, on Cornwall’s picturesque coastline, this charming guest house offers attractively furnished rooms with flat-screen TVs. A couple of minutes from Summerleaze Beach and the town centre, there is limited free parking. Each cosily furnished room at The Grosvenor includes a hospitality tray, radio-alarm and tea/coffee-making facilities. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available from reception upon request. Some rooms situated at the front of the house enjoy views of the canal, river and countryside. A full English breakfast or lighter options are served every morning in the bright, airy breakfast room, using local produce wherever possible. Guests can relax with a drink in the conservatory or enjoy the lounge, which has large comfortable sofas, a widescreen TV and a DVD player. Beautiful countryside and coastline surrounds Bude, and is perfect for walking. A popular area for surfing, 2 of Cornwall’s finest beaches are just a few minutes’ walk from The Grosvenor. 5 minutes’ walk away is Bude Golf course.

Property information

The Grosvenor is a beautiful stone building built in 1895. It stands on the edge of summerleaze beach. It has 3 floors with 11 bedrooms. We have 1 twin, various doubles and 1 family room available. We also have a small single with a private bathroom.The Grosvenor is about to undergo a refurbishment late 2015 to include guest rooms and common areas to take advantage of the large rooms with high ceilings and natural daylight.During the refurbishment we hope to modernise but also retain original features and utilise them into the new decor.When complete there will be an adjacent changing area for surfing enthusiasts with wetsuit drying and board storage along with secure cycle storage.

Neighbourhood information

The Grosvenor is in a prime position to access the South West Coastal path which makes it an ideal spot for coastal walks. For those who prefer a shorter distance there are several walks of varying distances along the Bude canal and River Neet valley. We are very close to two of the finest surfing beaches in North Cornwall and indeed the whole of the UK.
