The Groveside is owned and run (since June 2018) by Andy and Sarah. As a couple we have past experience in the holiday industry,so we aim to provide the utmost care and consideration to our guests from a warm welcome to making sure the rooms are clean and welcoming,also cooking delicious breakfasts which can be ordered on arrival.

The Groveside is an Edwardian Guest House, We have also recently installed a dedicated wifi line for all our guests and high speed broadband can now be accessed in all bedrooms and the lounge. We have a 9 ensuite bedrooms, twins, doubles and a single. We have a guest garden area with seating All Guest Houses in Sidmouth have their unique appeal and and strive to do their best. We follow this trend with enthusiasm and dedication and it is our aim to provide a traditional service in a calm, warm and pleasing environment.

Neighborhood info

The Groveside is situated within the seaside resort of Sidmouth a short distance from the town centre (3 minutes walk) and beach (7 minutes walk) in beautiful East Devon ,with its rolling green hills, Jurassic coastline, amazing walks and well kept gardens. We have a wonderful town with many small individual shops selling unusual items, some fine eateries and pubs. We are situated only 20 minutes from the Exeter international airport and 35 minutes from the fabulous City of Exeter. The Donkey sanctuary is nearby as our some sporting events such as Cricket, football, rugby, Badminton,Bowls, swimming pool, and Golf course. We have an art deco cinema just three minutes away and a wonderful Theatre that provides all year round productions. There is a large swimming pool by the beach and the beach is pebble/sand and is totally unspoilt. there is only one thing better than visiting Sidmouth and that is living here.
