I loved the secret-feeling passages leading to the rooms. The building is old but the facilities in the rooms are modern. I stayed in four different rooms over two weeks and enjoyed them all. The first was at the back of the building and quiet. The second was at the front over a weekend and was very noisy until 1am when the nightclub across the street closed. The third one had a heavenly bath.

    Hi the best way to the castle would be by taxi, and the taxi rank is within 200 yards of us otherwise we can order you transport on the day.

  • What are the parking facilities and cost for the night ?

    Hi! Unfortunately we have no parking on site, however, there are several council-run car parks located to the rear of our building along Bear lane. Prices vary, the best value is The Corn Exchange car park which works out as £12 per 24hour period.
